Temporary Part Time Carer in Kent

Experience: 2 years

Salary: £10 to £12 per hour

A dynamic family in the Sevenoaks area seeks an organised and flexible live out part time carer who can assist their elderly loved one with daily routines and activities in a temporary role for 2 to 3 months.

Working hours: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off

Duties include:

  • organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
  • organising and taking the client to appointments
  • helping with laundry and ironing
  • changing bed linen and making beds
  • assisting with bathing and personal grooming
  • helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
  • getting to know the client and their interests and needs
  • giving emotional and practical support to the client
  • food preparation, feeding and giving out medication
