Salary: £11 to £12 per hour

A family in Kingston seeks a full time live out care assistant to help their elderly relative move around the house. The family is looking for someone to start in 3 weeks.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 10 hours per day

Duties include:

  • organising meals as well as the groceries for the elderly person
  • organising and taking the elderly person to appointments
  • helping with laundry and ironing
  • changing bed linen and making beds
  • assisting with bathing and personal grooming
  • helping the elderly person manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
  • getting to know the elderly person and their interests and needs
