A considerate and dedicated part time housekeeper carer is needed in St Albans to help an elderly client in doing the daily routines whilst maintaining the upkeep of their household. Someone with experience in providing special elderly care needs is essential.

Working hours: Tuesday to Thursday, approximately 5 hours per day

Duties include:

• keeping the elderly client's room clean at all times,
• polishing floor, vacuuming, dusting
• changing bed sheets,
• organising leisure activities
• helping with personal care and grooming
• assisting with bathing
• giving emotional and practical support to the elderly client
• preparing healthy meals for the elderly client
• feeding and giving out medication
• washing dishes
• helping with the bedtime routine

The family would like the Housekeeper Carer to start in April but they are willing to offer an earlier start date for the right candidate.
