We are looking for a full time live in care assistant in Edgware, London to help an elderly client with mobility and ensure that the client receives kind and respectful personal care that supports their choice and independence.

Working hours: Monday to Saturday, 7 am to 7 pm

Duties include:

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

Someone who knows how to drive is ideal but not required. Own accommodation will be provided for the care assistant. The family wants the Carer to start by the end of April.
