A family in Chigwell, Essex is looking for a responsible and efficient Live In Full-Time Carer Companion to provide care assistance and practical support to a young adult. The Carer Companion will be required to work for 7 days a week, time off will be discussed in advance with the client. Flexibility is required.

As a Carer Companion, your duties will include

• The client is mostly independent but may need some assistance with mobility and some aspects of personal care on occasion.
• Working closely with the existing wider support team.
• Accompanying on days out to various activities like swimming and other physical activities
• Cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner (also any snacks between meals)
• Keeping the home tidy and some general housekeeping duties
• Ensuring the client is comfortable and safe

Someone who knows how to drive is ideal but not a must. The family also have dogs so the Carer Companion must be pet-friendly as well. The successful candidate will be provided with comfortable accommodation.
