Live Out Carer required in Cheltenham

Location: Gloucestershire, Cheltenham

Experience: 2 years

Salary: £10 to £12 net per hour

A family in Cheltenham is looking for a Full Time Live Out Carer to help them look after their elderly relative. The working hours for this position is Monday to Friday, full time, with the flexibility to work on weekends when needed.

You will be responsible in

  • organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
  • organising and taking the client to appointments
  • helping with laundry and ironing
  • changing bed linen and making beds
  • assisting with bathing and personal grooming
  • helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
  • getting to know the client and their interests and needs
  • giving emotional and practical support to the client
  • food preparation, feeding and giving out medication
