An elderly client in Luton, Bedfordshire is looking to hire an Italian speaking full time live in carer to assist with all aspects of personal care as well as helping in walking up and down the stairs. The carer will also be responsible for preparing meals for the whole day.

The client is no longer able to communicate in English so the carer must be someone who can speak Italian fluently. They are also ideally looking for 2 carers who can work in a rota position.

Working hours: Full time hours, the rota will be ideally shared by 2 carers working 4 days on, 3 days on or 5 days on, 2 days on.

Duties include:

• Assisting with all aspects of personal care
• Providing companionship
• Preparing meals - breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Housekeeping duties
• Prompting medication
• Running errands for the client
• Ensuring the client is safe and comfortable
• Accompanying the client on outings and activities

Someone who can drive is a bonus but not required. They are open for candidates who can work either on a temporary or permanent basis.
