A full time live out carer position has become available in Harpenden, Hertfordshire where the candidate will be mainly in charge of assisting an elderly person with many elements of their daily routine.

The client is looking for someone who is a walking distance from their home to limit the use of public transportation.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, around 40 to 45 hours per week.

Duties include:

• organising the laundry and ironing
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication
• cleaning kitchens and bathrooms
• running errands with the elderly person
• organising appointments for the elderly person
• taking the elderly person on short walks around the neighbourhood
• helping with personal grooming
• assisting with bathing
• helping with home administration
• organising daily schedule for the elderly person
