A great opportunity is waiting for a caring individual based in Southwark, London. Our client and their family are seeking a Full Time Live Out Carer to help an elderly relative with mobility and daily routines more easily.

The right candidate will need to be organised, flexible, who can also be respectful and patient towards the elderly person and their needs. The Carer is required to work full time from Monday to Saturday.

The Carer will be responsible for

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the elderly person
• organising and taking the elderly person to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the elderly person manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the elderly person and their interests and needs

Our client and their family are looking for someone who is interested in a long-term placement. Someone who knows how to drive is ideal. The family would like the Carer to join their household by the 1st week of February but they are flexible with the start date for the right candidate.
