A Newhaven-based family is looking for a dependable and skilled Live In Full-Time Carer Housekeeper who can provide care assistance to an elderly client whilst taking charge of the housekeeping duties. The working hours for this position would be 5 days a week, 10 to 12 hours per day.

Duties will include

• General care duties
• Reminding and assisting with personal care
• Understanding clients needs and enabling/ assisting client to do various task
• Cooking and also helping the client with the cooking
• Organising various activities and accompanying client on outings
• Keeping the home tidy
• Booking and taking to appointments
• Shopping and running errands
• Changing bedsheets
• Keeping the kitchen clean at all times
• Grocery shopping
• Maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the family
• Giving emotional and practical support to the client

Someone who knows how to drive is ideal for this position. The family is looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
