A family in the Dollis Hill area seeks a live out part time carer who can assist their elderly loved one with daily routines and activities. It would be ideal if the carer lives nearby the family's home as they want to limit the use of public transportation.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 18 to 20 hours per week

Duties include:

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

The carer will ideally start in the first week of October.
