A reliable Temporary Carer is needed in the Regents Park area to provide care and support to an elderly client. This will be a night time shift and the Carer will be needed for 2 weeks, from 8 pm to 7/8 am.

Duties will include:

• Morning routine
• Serving meals
• Sponging
• Toileting
• Using hoist or Sara Stedy to transfer from bed to wheelchair
• Taking the client out for walks and on outings
• Liaising with physiotherapist
• Medication prompting and management
• Getting new prescriptions and picking up new medication from the pharmacist
• Pain management
• Keeping records of what happens throughout the day and making a care plan
• Ensuring the client is safe and comfortable
• Providing companionship
• Making sure the client doesn't get bed sores

The client is looking for someone flexible, trustworthy and efficient with the tasks. The client is looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
