A lovely client based in the South Woodford area seeks a reliable Live In Carer Companion to help with the day to day tasks and routines. The client is a young adult who is mostly independent but may occasionally need assistance with some aspects of personal care. There is a strong team of people working with the client on a daily basis to help with education, physical wellbeing and independence skills and the Carer Companion will work closely with the existing support team.

The work schedule will ideally be 7 days a week and the time off will be discussed in advance with the client.

Other duties as a Carer Companion

• assisting the client with some aspects of personal care
• accompanying the client on days out to various activities
• cooking meals and preparing snacks
• keeping the home tidy and some general housekeeping duties
• ensuring the client is comfortable and safe

Someone who knows how to drive is ideal but not a must. Live-in accommodation will be provided for the successful candidate. The family would like the Carer Companion to start as soon as possible.
