We currently have an open position for a willing and skilful Part Time Live Out Carer whose expertise lies in the field of elder care and support for a family in Camden, London. As a Carer, your main task is to assist the elderly person in the daily routines, accompany them to appointments and events, and making sure that they are always safe, happy, and attended. This role will be flexible in terms of working days but ideally 3 days a week, approximately 25 to 30 hours of work.

You will be in charge with

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

The family is looking for someone who can drive and who will be able to start as soon as possible.
