A family in Chester, Cheshire is in need of a Part Time Carer to assist an elderly person in day to day activities. They need someone who can work with minimal supervision, someone with initiative and passion to do the work efficiently. Although previous experience with elderly care and support would be an advantage, it is more important to have the willingness and right attitude towards your work. This position requires 3 days of work, approximately 15 to 20 hours per week.

The Part Time Carer will be responsible with

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget and pay bills
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
