A family in Croydon, London is looking for a diligent and dependable Live In Housekeeper Carer who can help them look after an elderly person as well as maintain their property. This will be a perfect opportunity to develop your skills, shape your career and make a real difference towards the life of the elderly member of the family you will be caring for. The working schedule for this position will be 6 days a week, full time, but a lot of breaks on the weekend where the Housekeeper Carer can use the free time to roam around their lovely neighbourhood.

You will be in charge of

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• organising leisure activities
• helping with personal care and grooming
• assisting with bathing
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication
• helping the client manage their budget and pay bills
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs

The family needs the Housekeeper Carer to start as soon as possible. Someone who knows how to drive is also essential, as the Housekeeper Carer would be occasionally asked to bring the elderly person to appointments and events.
