We currently have an open position for a willing and skilful Carer whose expertise lies in the field of elder care and support. This vacancy is for a Full Time Live In Carer role for a family in Ilford. As a Carer, your main task is to assist the elderly person with daily routines, accompany them to appointments and events, and make sure that they are always safe, happy, and attended. The working hours for this position would be Monday to Saturday, full time.

You will be in charge with

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

The Carer will be provided with own bedroom and bathroom. The family is looking for someone who can start as soon as possible, but they are willing to wait for the perfect candidate.
