We have an open position for a Live In Full Time Carer in Salisbury where the candidate will mainly deal with assisting a senior client in doing daily routines in the house. The working hours for this position would be Monday to Friday, full time.

The family would like to hire someone who is patient and reliable, and who will be able to do the duties efficiently. They need someone who can drive the senior client to social events and appointments.

As a Full Time Carer, your duties will include

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

The family is looking for a candidate who is seeking a long term placement. The family wants the Carer to start in September.
