A family in Sevenoaks is looking for a dedicated and passionate Live In Carer who can assist an elderly person around the house and accompany the elderly person to appointments and special gatherings. A key aspect of the role is encouraging and supporting the senior client to enable them to live as independently as possible. The working hours for this role would be full time from Monday to Friday, and then half-day on Saturday.

The Carer is responsible for

• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication
• running errands with the elderly person
• organising appointments for the elderly person
• taking the elderly person on short walks around the neighbourhood
• helping with personal grooming
• assisting with bathing
• helping with home administration
• organising daily schedule for the elderly person

Someone who knows how to drive would be ideal for this role but this is not a requirement. The family is looking for someone who can start as in February but they are willing to offer an early start date for the right candidate.
