A senior client in South Hams is looking for a live in carer who can help with their daily needs and be a friendly companion.

Working hours: Monday to Friday - 50 hours per week

Duties include:

• providing companionship
• preparing meals and snacks
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• running errands with the client
• taking the client to social events
• cleaning the kitchen after meals
• reminding to take medication
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping in managing their budget
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• ensuring the client is safe and comfortable

They require someone who has a valid UK Residence Permit. Ideally, the client would like the carer to start in March but they can offer an earlier start date for the perfect candidate.
