We currently have an open position for a skilful Live In Carer who is willing to join a family in Brent, London and help them assist an elderly person in the daily routines, accompany them to appointments and events, and make sure that they are always safe, happy, and attended.

This role will be flexible in terms of working days but ideally 5 to 6 days per week, full time. They would like to hire someone with experience with special elderly care needs.

You will be responsible in

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

The Carer will be provided with own bedroom ensuite. They need someone to drive the client to appointments so knowing how to drive is a must. The family is looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
