We currently have an open position for a willing and skilful Carer whose expertise lies in the field of elder care and support. This vacancy is for a Full Time Live In Carer role for a family in Clapham, London. The working hours for this position would be from Monday to Friday, full time.

As a Carer, your main task is to assist the elderly client in the daily routines and accompany them to activities.

You will also be in charge with

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

The Carer will be provided with own bedroom and bathroom. The family is looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
