A lovely elderly client seeks a hardworking and detail-oriented candidate who can work in a live in full time elderly carer position in West Sussex. You will be in charge of assisting the elderly person with daily routines and activities. Someone who is a good cook and can drive would be a big bonus.

Working hours: 6 to 7 days a week, 12 hours a day with breaks (days off to be discussed)

Duties include:

• all general care duties - personal care, washing, showering, assisting with dressing, assisting with toileting and the commode.
• providing companionship
• ensuring the client is feeling safe and comfortable at all times
• encouraging the clients’ independence and assisting with walking
• assisting with and encouraging exercise
• general housekeeping duties
• ensure the client is hydrated
