A family in Colindale is looking for a diligent and dependable Live In Housekeeper Carer who can help them look after an elderly person as well as maintain their property. This will be a perfect opportunity to develop your skills, shape your career and make a real difference towards the life of others.

The working schedule for this position will be 5 days a week, full time. The family is very flexible with the working days.

You will be in charge of

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• organising leisure activities
• helping with personal care and grooming
• assisting with bathing
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication
• helping the client manage their budget and pay bills
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs

The family needs the Housekeeper Carer to start in​ October. Someone who knows how to drive is also ideal, as the Housekeeper Carer would be occasionally asked to bring the elderly person to appointments and events.
