We have an open position for a Live Out Full Time Carer role in Cranbrook. The Full Time Carer will be assisting a senior client in doing daily routines in the house. The working hours for this position would be 5 to 6 days a week, full time.

The family would like to hire someone who is patient and reliable, and who will be able to do the duties efficiently. They also want someone who is a confident driver.

As a Full Time Carer, your duties will include

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication
