A part time live out housekeeper carer is required by a senior client living in the Northwood area to help with their daily tasks, keep their home tidy, and prepare meals when needed.

Working hours: 3 evenings a week (may require flexibility), 6 pm to 9 pm

Duties include:

  • prepare lunch/dinner
  • night medication and update the family
  • encourage the client to walk and wear shoes instead of slippers
  • support the client with evening routine if required
  • companionship and reassurance
  • ensuring that the client is safe and comfortable at all time
  • ensure that the client has everything she needs at all times
  • being a comforting presence in the home when the husband goes out.
  • clean the kitchen
  • sweep the floor if needed
  • do the laundry and ironing for the client
  • clean the house (vacuum, bathrooms) as needed
  • grocery shopping
  • empty the kitchen bin when full and place contents in an outside bin
  • empty other bins (bathrooms, bedrooms, lounge) as required
  • empty and replace the metal food waste bowl on the kitchen window sill
  • manage food waste and recycling bins, tie and store bags, and replace them with new ones,
  • put out black bins, recycling bags, and food waste bags weekly if working on Sunday
  • prep food for the next two days and do light cleaning as needed

They require someone who has a valid UK residence permit. The ideal start date is on the 21st of October.
