A family in Barnet is looking for a diligent and dependable Live Out Part Time Carer who can help them look after an elderly person. Someone who is passionate with work and patient would be ideal. The working schedule is 4 days a week, approximately 20 to 25 hours per week with flexibility.

You will be in charge of

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the elderly person
• organising and taking the elderly person to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• organising leisure activities
• helping with personal care and grooming
• assisting with bathing
• giving emotional and practical support to the elderly person
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication
• helping the elderly person manage their budget and pay bills
• getting to know the elderly person and their interests and needs

The family needs the Carer to start on last week of August or early September. Someone who knows how to drive is also ideal, as the Carer would be occasionally asked to do some errands for the elderly person.
