A family in Gravesend, Kent is looking for a Part Time Live Out Carer to help them look after their elderly family member. A key aspect of the role is supporting the senior client to enable them to live as independently as possible with the highest standards of elderly care. The working hours for this position is Monday to Thursday, approximately 20 to 25 hours per week.

You will be in charged with

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

The family is looking for someone who can start as soon as possible but they are flexible with the start date for the right candidate.
