We are currently looking for a reliable, efficient and flexible Live Out Part Time Carer to provide personal care and both practical and emotional support to a senior client in St Albans, Hertfordshire. The hours for this position require the Part Time Carer to work for 3 to 4 days a week, approximately 20 to 25 hours per week. The family is very flexible with the working hours.

As a Part Time Carer, your duties will include

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication
