A full-time live-in elderly care opportunity for a Polish-speaking candidate is open in Camden, London. The role involves primarily assisting an elderly individual with various aspects of their daily routine.

Working hours: 7 days a week, 2 weeks on 2 weeks off OR ideally, 10 days on 4 weeks off, 12 hours per day with breaks.

Duties include:

• assist the client in and out of bed
• provide support with personal care tasks such as washing, toileting, and dressing
• administer prescribed medication from the provided list
• offer companionship, ensuring the client's safety and comfort throughout
• facilitate daily exercises, including standing and sitting with the use of the sara steady
• attend to the client's nighttime needs, including painkillers and water
• perform general housekeeping duties, including dusting and vacuuming all rooms, cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms
• ensure all appliances are functional and maintain overall tidiness
• load the dishwasher, handle laundry and ironing as required
• sweep and clean the small terrace to prevent flooding
• engage in light cooking, especially purees and soups, as the client is on a modified diet
• prepare beverages, including tea, coffee, and administer juices, soups, and vitamin drinks
• monitor and follow the client's dietary preferences, such as having half-grated apple with porridge and raspberries in the morning and the other half during the day

The ideal start date for this position will be on January 2nd. They require someone who has a valid UK residence permit.
