We currently have an open position in Southwark, London for a willing and skilful Live In Full Time Carer whose expertise lies in the field of elder care. As a Carer, your main task is to assist the elderly person and provide care and support in a client centred approach. This role will be flexible in terms of working days but ideally 4 to 5 days per week, full time.

You will be responsible with

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

The Carer will be provided with own bedroom and bathroom. The family is looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
