Our elderly client in Exeter is currently looking for a temporary full time live in carer to assist with personal care and ensure that the client is always safe, happy, and comfortable. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with pets. Someone who is able to drive would be a significant plus as well.

Working hours: 7 days a week; 12 hours with breaks included; 84 hours per week

Accommodation: Own bedroom and en-suite

Duties include:

• general care duties
• providing companionship
• stimulating and entertaining the client
• assisting with personal care and hygiene
• taking the client out for walks for fresh air when required
• laundry
• hoovering, mopping, and dusting
• changing bed sheets and linen
• cooking and preparing meals
• doing the dishes
• running errands
• feeding the cat
• making sure the house is tidy
• ensuring the client is safe and comfortable

They require someone with a valid UK Residence Permit. This is for temporary role and the candidate is expected to work for 1 week starting on February 1 to 9, 2025.
