A family based in Devon is seeking a dedicated carer to provide round-the-clock support for their elderly relative as long as needed, and make sure that he is always safe and comfortable. This is a temporary role and the carer will be working for a month.

Working hours: 7 days a week, 12 hours with breaks included

Duties include:

• general care duties
• help with personal care and hygiene
• companionship
• stimulating and entertaining the client
• motivating and stimulating the client
• ensuring that the client has everything that he needs at all times
• taking the client out for walks for fresh air when required
• make sure he is being supported at all times
• ensuring the client is safe and comfortable at all times -laundry
• hoovering, mopping, dusting
• changing bed sheets and linen
• dishes
• running errands
• ensuring the house stays neat and tidy at all times
• cooking and preparing meals for the client, such as breakfast and lunch, and dinner

They require someone who has a valid UK residence permit. They need someone to start as soon as possible.
