Expertly-vetted carers

We guarantee that all carers have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience and an up-to-date enhanced DBS check. We interview them face to face, verbally review references & request First Aid certificates.

Face to face interviews

You will receive a short-list of handpicked candidates which you can also personally interview face to face (or via video link). This is yet another step in verifying the candidates are the best ones for you.

On-going support

Our specialist care consultants are with you from your first call and after a candidate has been successfully placed in your home. They liaise with yourself & the candidates, provide interview tips and support with contracts.

Low replacement rate

We specialise in long-lasting care, companion and housekeeping placements which is why our replacement rate is only 5%. We also offer a free 3 to 6 month replacement guarantee on all permanent services.

At Guardian Carers, we place carers, companions and housekeepers with clients all over the UK and internationally. We pride ourselves on providing a premium service focused on maintaining our clients’ independence at home for as long as possible.

From the outset, we wanted to bring the best care services to people of all ages. We are the sister company to Little Ones, a leading provider of nanny services in the UK & internationally with over 15 years of experience.

Our mission is to allow people to maintain their independence at home, no matter what stage they are at in their life. Our services range from dementia care and Parkinson’s care to post-op care and sports injury care.

We are a growing close-knit team working side by side to help clients live their best lives at home and offer carers their desired care roles. Our aim is to offer quality, transparent and fast services, constantly improving along the way.

How We Work

1. The initial consultation

During your initial consultation with us, a specialist care consultant will find out all your needs and requirements, such as:

  • The type of care needed
  • The length of time the carer/housekeeper is required for
  • The responsibilities of the carer/housekeeper
  • Any conditions or disabilities the care recipient has
  • Any other special requirements

2. The search for a carer/housekeeper

After you register with us we will be able to access our candidate database and proceed with the search. Your personal consultant will also recruit local carers, specifically for the role, ensuring that they have the desired experience and skills. They will interview the carers, check their qualifications and experience, verify their references verbally and perform an enhanced DBS check (Police check).

3. The candidate interviews

Your personal consultant will send you a tailored selection of candidate profiles to choose from. You will get the unique chance to interview the candidates yourself, either face to face or via video call. Having the choice to conduct your own interviews is yet another verification point which ensures our candidates will be the perfect match for you. Our 5% replacement rate attests to this.

4. The confirmation of employment

After concluding the interviews and picking the candidate you love the most, we will confirm the employment between yourself and the carer/housekeeper. Your personal consultant will then send you sample contracts. If necessary, our payroll department will assist with setting up the employment. After confirming the employment, the agency fee will be due. With us, you only need to pay a one-off fee. For live-in positions, we charge a one-off fee of 18% of the carer’s net annual salary. For live-out positions under 20 hours, we charge 18% of the carer’s net annual salary, while for over 20 hours we charge 16% of the carer’s net annual salary. For temporary positions, the weekly fee is determined upon enquiry. With us, you get a 6-month replacement guarantee for positions over 25 hours/week and 3-month replacement guarantee for less than 25 hours/week.
