Carer Monica’s experience

Monica had experience working for a quadriplegic client, the result of cerebral palsy at birth and use an electric wheelchair on a full-time basis. She assisted a family as a live-in carer for almost 3 years and this family she worked for was very happy with her performance.

What personal care experience does Monica have with her clients?

Monica helped with all aspects of personal care and encouraged the client to live a life as independently as possible on a daily basis. Her tasks included washing, showering, grooming and dressing the client as well as administering tablets and medication.

What housekeeping and cooking experience does Monica have as a Carer?

Monica was also able to help with food preparation, laundry, housework, shopping, meetings, conferences and general administration.
