A family in the Chigwell area seeks a live out part time carer who can assist their elderly loved one. The carer will help in assisting the elderly client in doing the daily routines and tasks around the house.

Working hours: 4 to 5 hours a day, approximately 16 to 20 hours per week

Duties include:

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

The carer will ideally start in the first week of March.
