A Full-Time Live-In Housekeeper Carer is needed in Islington, London to stay and assist an elderly client around the house and help maintain the property in good condition. They are seeking someone hardworking and organised with their house tasks. This position requires full-time work from Monday to Saturday, from 8 am to 6 pm. Pet care will also be required as the family has a small dog at home.

The Housekeeper Carer will be in charge of

• cleaning bedrooms, living areas, toilets and bathrooms
• participating in hobbies and recreations
• pet care
• organise wardrobes and cupboards
• accompanying to social events and gatherings
• mobility support around the home and while you are out
• sort, wash, load and put away clean laundry
• cooking and sharing meals
• showering and bathing
• dressing and undressing
• ordering and collecting prescriptions
• writing cards, letters or emails
• ironing clothes and linen

Someone who knows how to drive is ideal as the Housekeeper Carer will also be tasked to bring the client to appointments and to run some errands. The family is looking for someone who can start by the end of October.
