A caring and proactive individual is needed to work in a Live-in Carer position to help our lovely client in Teddington, London with the daily routines and some aspects of personal care. The Carer is required to work full time from Monday to Saturday. The right candidate will need to be flexible, someone who can also be respectful and patient towards the elderly person and their needs.

The Carer will be responsible for

• getting in and out of bed and assuring comfort
• accompany client to social outings and help host social gatherings in the home such as afternoon lunches with loved ones
• prepare snacks and refreshments as well as cook main meals
• water plants
• help with washing and dressing
• managing toilet needs
• make and keep notes of appointments and arrangements
• reminders when to take medication
• assist with moving and walking
• light household duties
• oral hygiene care
• shop and order necessary home supplies or personal equipment

Someone who knows how to drive is ideal. The family would like the Carer to join their household by the 1st week of November but they are flexible with the start date for the right candidate.
