We are looking for a hardworking and reliable full time live in care assistant in Brent Cross. As a care assistant, your main task is to support an elderly person in the daily routines and accompany them to appointments and events.

Working hours: flexible in terms of working days but ideally 5 days per week, 50 to 55 hours per week

Duties include:

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

The care assistant will be provided with own bedroom and bathroom. Someone who can drive would be perfect for this role. The family is looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
