A dynamic family in the Guildford area seeks a live out part time care assistant who can help their elderly loved one in doing the daily living tasks. The candidate must have a driver's license to qualify for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, approximately 16 to 20 hours per week

Duties include:

• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

The care assistant will ideally start as soon as possible.
