A family in the Chigwell area seeks a live out part time care assistant who can provide support to their elderly loved one. The care assistant will help the client with mobility and physical exercise. The family is ideally looking for someone who lives around their area.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, approximately 16 to 20 hours per week

Duties include:

• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the client manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication

The care assistant will ideally start as soon as possible.
