A family in Chigwell, Essex is looking for a patient and reliable Live In Carer Companion who can assist and care for an elderly client. The family wants the Carer to be an emotional and practical support to their loved one. The working hours for this role would be 7 days a week, time off will be discussed in advance, but the family prefers someone who is flexible.

The Carer Companion will be responsible for

• assistance with mobility and some aspects of personal care on occasion
• cooking - breakfast, lunch, and dinner (also any snacks between meals) and giving out medication
• keeping the home tidy and some general housekeeping duties
• helping with personal grooming
• assisting with bathing
• ensuring the client is comfortable and safe

Someone who can drive would be ideal for this position. The family is looking for someone who can start as soon as possible. They have two medium-sized dogs so someone pet-friendly is needed for this position.
