Salary: £12 to £15 gross per hour

A Full Time Live Out Carer is needed by a family in Brentwood, Essex to help an elderly person move around the house and assist them in doing daily living tasks. The Carer is required to work for 5 days a week, ideally 8 pm to 8 am.

You will be responsible for

  • organising meals as well as the groceries for the elderly person
  • organising and taking the elderly person to appointments
  • helping with laundry and ironing
  • changing bed linen and making beds
  • assisting with bathing and personal grooming
  • helping the elderly person manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
  • getting to know the elderly person and their interests and needs
  • and ensure the client is safe and comfortable
