A family in Camden, London is looking for a diligent and dependable Live In Housekeeper Carer who can help them look after an elderly person whilst at the same time maintain their property. The working schedule for this position will be on a rota basis, 3 weeks of full time work and then one week off.

This will be a perfect opportunity to develop your skills, shape your career and make a real difference towards the life of the elderly client you will be caring for.

You will be in charge of

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the client
• organising and taking the client to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• organising leisure activities
• helping with personal care and grooming
• assisting with bathing
• giving emotional and practical support to the client
• food preparation, feeding and giving out medication
• helping the client manage their budget and pay bills
• getting to know the client and their interests and needs

The family needs the Housekeeper Carer to start in the 2nd week of October. Someone who knows how to drive is also ideal, as the Housekeeper Carer would be occasionally asked to bring the elderly person to appointments and events. The family will provide a spacious private room for the Housekeeper Carer.
