We are currently seeking a Gujarati-speaking live-in housekeeper carer cook for an elderly client based in Sydenham. The ideal candidate should be fluent in Gujarati and Hindi, as these languages are requested where possible.

Working hours: 7 days a week, 12 hours with breaks included 2 carers on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation

Duties include:

• assisting with personal care
• assisting in hygiene and morning/night routines
• administering medication
• providing incontinence support
• providing companionship and personal life support
• ensuring the client's safety and comfort at all times
• taking the client for walks, outings, and appointments as needed
• stimulating and encouraging the client, especially for dementia support
• offering mobility support and reassurance
• performing all housekeeping duties, such as laundry, changing bedsheets, cleaning, and running errands
• maintaining a clean environment around the client's care area
• cooking meals, preparing snacks, and beverages as required

The ideal start date for this position is on June 19, 2023. They require someone who has a valid UK residence permit.
