A client in the Buntingford area seeks a live in carer who can assist with daily routines and activities. The client is still very independent but may need assistance.

Working hours: 1 week on 1 week off, alternating between Friday to Tuesday and Thursday to Tuesday, 12 hours per day with breaks; 60 hours each week

Duties include:

• providing companionship
• driving the client to the local Co-Op (daily visit for essentials)
• reminding to take medication
• preparing breakfast and helping in cooking meals
• stimulating the client and engaging in conversation
• keeping the client hydrated
• general housekeeping duties such as cleaning, washing, dusting
• asking the client if the bed needs changing
• loading the dishwasher
• ensuring the client is safe and comfortable

They require a candidate who has a valid UK Residence Permit. The carer will ideally start on the 3rd of November. Someone who drives automatic and manual cars is ideal as well.
