A client in the Buntingford area seeks a live in carer who can assist with daily routines and activities. The client is still very independent but may need assistance. A driver with proficiency in both automatic and manual vehicles is needed.

Working hours: 2 carers on a rota, 2 weeks on & 2 weeks off or 3 weeks on 1 week off.

Duties include:

• providing companionship
• driving the client to the local Co-Op (daily visit for essentials)
• reminding to take medication
• preparing breakfast and helping in cooking meals
• stimulating the client and engaging in conversation
• keeping the client hydrated
• general housekeeping duties such as cleaning, washing, dusting
• asking the client if the bed needs changing
• loading the dishwasher
• ensuring the client is safe and comfortable

They require someone who has a valid UK residence permit. The client is looking to hire as soon as possible.
