An elderly couple based in Camden is looking to hire a full time live in carer to assist with personal care and provide companionship. Someone who drives would be a bonus.

Working hours: 5 days a week, Thursday to Monday, 12 hours a day with 2 hour break (to be discussed with the husband)

Duties include:

• all general care duties such as getting the client in and out of bed
• personal care
• washing, dressing etc.
• possibly assisting with medication
• providing companionship and actively talking and listening to her about her interests
• ensuring the client is safe and comfortable at all times
• light basic housekeeping duties such as washing up or putting the clients clothes away
• preparing light meals, snacks and drinks throughout the day. Making dinner.

They need someone to start on the 3rd week of Septmeber.
