A senior client based in East Dulwich is looking for a full time live in carer to provide companionship and assist with mobility.

Working hours: 5 days a week for 12 hours a day with a minimum of 2 hours breaks a day.

Duties include:

• to provide companionship
• unobtrusive monitoring of activities
• suggesting/stimulating activities
• answering front door & telephone
• going for trips to the cafe
• grocery shopping
• help with personal care and incontinence problems in the future when needed (although not currently needed)
• work closely with the live-in companion who provides 15 hours companionship incl. meal prep, activities and grocery shopping
• liaise with the client's other care team member and family members via whatsapp and weekly face-to-face catch up with the current live-in carer if needed
• help with laundry duties
• making sure the home is tidy and clean at all times.
• help with grocery shopping and prepare meals when needed

They require someone who has a valid UK residence permit. They need someone to start on August.
