An elderly client based in Hampshire is searching for a full time live in carer to provide companionship and make sure that the client is always safe. Someone who drives would be a bonus. One criteria for anyone taking on the role will be a high/good level of empathy and understand with regard to such a condition.

Working hours: Full time live in, on a rota 2 carers alternating. working 12 hours per day with minimum of 2 hours break.

Duties include:

• ensure the client is safe
• manages her medication
• provide companionship
• accompany her when she wants to visit her husband
• sort out her appointments
• make sure that the house is tidy and kept clean with the help of the housekeeper
• make sure to do the laundry and keep her clothes clean and tidy
• cooking for the client as this is one thing doesn't want to worry about
• make sure to prepare what she likes freshly made
• do the shopping

They need someone to start in October.
